As the winds blew our way this past week, they brought along the wonderful surprise of SNOW! Our friends were fascinated by it, relished in it, and couldn't wait to get it in their mouths!
As soon as we were done with the morning's activities, we zipped, buckled, and padded ourselves and headed out to the season's first wintry glory.
Our first task was to gather a load of snow for further exploration in the classroom. After a roaring game of hurling snow, ducking, and running, we gathered together, using our gloved hands to make a snow person adding beans for eyes and a carrot for a nose.
A final roll in the freshly fallen, cold, white snow left us giggling with joy and ready for warm apple cider inside the classroom.
We look forward to the fun winter brings and can't wait for another Snowy Day!
